When ordering a t-shirt quilt the number of t-shirts given on the price list is counting just ONE SIDE of the shirt – if you have 10 shirts with designs on the front and back instead of 20 with design just on the front, this is perfect! PLEASE DO NOT CUT YOUR T-SHIRTS BEFORE BRINGING THEM – this could make my job a lot harder.
For jean and uniform quilts bring as many different articles of clothing that you can spare! Having different shades or jean and designs give the quilt personality. Unless otherwise requested all scraps and left overs from any quilts will be thrown away.
ALL quilt orders require a down payment of 1/2 the quoted price at the time your order is placed. The other 1/2 is due at the time your quilt is picked up.

When will my Quilt be finished?
- Right now most orders for t-shirt and jean quilts are completed in under 3 weeks. At the time your order is made you will receive a personal quote. Unless there is a long list of orders all Frazzled Baby Quilts will be done in 3 days.

My Frazzled Baby Quilts is shedding, what do I do?
- Because of the nature of the quilt, the first couple times you wash it you will find your lint catch in your dryer is full! THIS IS NORMAL! These quilts will stand the test of time and babies – each one of my three kids quilts are still around and looking fabulous.
How sturdy are your quilts?
- My Quilts are VERY durable. All t-shirt quilts are now machine quilted, which give the quilt a longer life then just tacking or tying – especially since t-shirt quilts have bigger squares making tying not as “sturdy” as the smaller squared jean quilts. T-shirt quilts are also bound with a double-fold bias which is hand tacked giving the border an invisible seam.
- Every Jean/Uniform quilt is surged at every seam to also insure a longer lasting quilt. If you’ve ever cut off your jeans you know how fast they can unravel – this is why I surge the seams instead of just sewing them!
Can I have a “fold over” border on my T-Shirt Quilt?
- YES! If you would like to add something to your quilt that is not advertised or just something different, send me an email! Every quilt I have made has its own personal touch from making a striped back, to making the front AND back out of t-shirts. It never hurts to ask!
How does “Refer a Friend” work?
- Refer a friend to CraftedByAuntyEm
- If the friend places an order, you will receive a 5% credit of THEIR order total towards your next Memory Quilt!
- Receive up to 5 “referred friend credits” on one order – holy cow!
- To receive a credit the friend must place an order (which includes paying 1/2 of their total price up front) by the time your quilt is finished.
